What if a PSH program cannot find a household that is chronically homeless?
- The Albuquerque and Balance of State CoCs have adopted Common Standards for Administering Permanent Supportive Housing.
- The Common Standards include a policy on how to proceed if a PSH program cannot identify a chronically homeless household within 14 days of a bed becoming available.

Staff time required to document chronic homelessness:
- Intake workers will now spend considerably more time documenting chronic homelessness, and each agency will need to figure out how to pay for this time.
- NMCEH Coordinated Assessment staff will also help chronically homeless participants secure documentation so they can be housed quickly when a bed becomes available.
New Mexico chronic homelessness definition packet:
- The Coalition has developed a packet with checklist and template forms. We strongly encourage PSH providers to use this pack to document chronic homelessness.
